I’m not sure about the details of the ownership, but it is something like that. I thought some percentage of the team was held by the citizens of Hiroshima, but my knowledge might be outdated in that regard.

Taking it from Wikipedia it says the Matsuda family owns 60% and Mazda 34.2%. Maybe the remaining 5.8% is own by the citizens of Hiroshima?

As for the name yeah Zoom Zoom Stadium would sound better, but hey its better than Kleenex Stadium Miyagi.

Tongue was in cheek there. Maybe just Zoom Zoom Stadium? It is better than Kleenex Stadium Miyagi.

Kind of a mouthful, I wonder if they could’ve just gone with one “zoom

Well since the motto is "Zoom, Zoom", we know Mazda wasn't going to go for just one zoom, and plus if I'm not mistaken doesn't the Matsuda family own the Carp? Who in return own Mazda. The Matsuda's own like 63% while Mazda owns 34.2%. So I take it there was a lot of pressure or a near certainity they would use both zooms. Though yeah I agree the name is a little overboard, but from I'm reading its shaping up to be a nice looking stadium.
