However, given the way the free agent market has been developing in America, I think this is a great signing by the Orioles. Had another team offered him this contract, I'd have found it rather high, but the Orioles have NO STARTING PITCHING whatsoever and always go after hitters. I think this is a good move because Uehara will play hard, eat innings, and come at a bargain compared to what other number 1 or 2 starters are making.
