		<description>No, Patrick I haven&#039;t really been reading too much lately on baseball. If it wasn&#039;t for this site and many like it I wouldnt have a clue what is going on. Though, I also thought Matsui&#039;s loyality to the Yankees is what would kept him there. 

Yes, the Orioles made a run at him, but he wanted to truly play for the Yankees I always believe, I could be wrong but that was the reception I got when Matsui was coming over to the States. I did at the time want Baltimore to sign Matsui, I think the figures the O&#039;s offered were 3 years/$21M, though its been so long so I could be wrong. Right now the Orioles could use a DH like Matsui, but I see him staying in New York out of loyality.</description>
