Upcoming Schedule

» 29 December 2010 » In NPB Tracker »

Here’s what we have in the works:

  • Another post or two on news and bullet points
  • Japanese participation in Winter Leagues
  • Nishioka’s potential successors at SS for Lotte
  • More on the Chen situation and what it means for NPB teams developing foreign prospects
  • Taking on some of Jim Small’s recent comments

And in January, we’ll be doing a team-by-team breakdown of the player personnel moves that occurred this offseason. Of course if there’s anything you would like to see, I’ll be happy to take it into consideration.

Thanks … I am interested in the Japanese participation in Winter Leagues and also the Giants participation in the Australian Baseball League (ABL).

Kamei is absolutely destroying the Aussie League with 1.359 OPS. Though, after his atrocious season, I could see why they sent him there, I guess it’s more just rehab and regular playing time rather because it’s not the right level of competition for someone who was a Giants regular and a Team Japan member.

I’m pretty sure that he was mainly there to get reps at 3B.
