A couple of Hanshin Tigers foreign player items of note in the news today:

• Matt Murton gets a one-year deal with a salary of 100m yen (call it $1m), a 50m yen signing bonus ($500k) and a team option for a second year.
• From the same article, Craig Brazell is returning on a one-year 80m yen ($800k) contract.
• Sponichi is is reporting that the Tigers are also working on acquiring Casey Fossum. This item first showed up in a comment on the Randy Messenger post.
