RIP Hiroyuki Oze
Orix Buffaloes infielder Hiroyuki Oze has shockingly died. The 24 year-old fell from the second floor at the hotel he was staying at in Miyakojima, Okinawa. Nikkan Sports and others are speculating that this could have been a suicide, though details are still unavailable.
Last year I wrote a post like this about Nick Adenhart. I hope this is the last time I write about this type of news.
RIP Oze san!
I thought it was the 10th story, not the 2nd. Did I read that wrong?

From the front page of Nikkan Sports on February 6, 2010:
I interpret that as saying that the emergency crew went up to the second floor roof to have a look at the source of blood flow (reported from a hotel staff member) and discovered Oze’s body. It is believed that he committed suicide after having leaped from the upper floors of the 11 story building. I don’t remember where, but I recall reading that it was most likely the 10th story he leaped from.
No, of course not:
Here’s the article I used:

5日午前11時45分ごろ、沖縄県宮古島市にあるホテル(4~11階建て)の2階部分の屋上で、このホテルを宿舎に春季キャンプ中のプロ野球オリックスの小瀬浩之外野手(24)が死亡しているのを駆け付けた救急隊員が見つけた
I must have read through that too quickly. It says his body was found on above the 2nd floor, but doesn’t specify what floor he fell from.
